Welcome to my site!
My name is Taeyoon Hwang and I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Michigan State University.
My research focuses on econometrics, particularly in time series econometrics and financial econometrics, with emphasis on their application to large financial data. I am also interested in the intersection of econometrics and machine learning, particularly as applied to empirical asset pricing.
I am currently on the job market in 2023-2024 and am available for both in-person and virtual interviews.
